GAS CONTROL STATION

GAS CONTROL STATION

The DUSUP Gas Control Station (GCS) controls the flow of pipeline gas and LNG from suppliers to the end users by a series of 16 control valve stations located at the center of Dubai fuel gas grid in Jebel Ali. The original GCS was constructed in 1993 and expanded in 2006 and 2010 to meet the increasing fuel requirement in Dubai.

State of the art control systems, flow meters, samplers and gas filters are incorporated into the design of the GCS to ensure the highest level of reliability and accuracy.

Additionally, DUSUP transports gas into the Northern Emirates through its pipeline network from the Dubai / Abu Dhabi border to the Dubai / Sharjah border to meet the needs of the Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) and the Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA) .
