Job purpose

Information security analysts plan, execute and  maintain information security measures to protect DUSUP’s digital information assests.

Key responsibilities:

Contribute to a high standard of HSE performance by following HSE standards at all times, including the prompt reporting of any safety or environmental hazards or incidents.

Achieve personal OES responsibilities in support of DUSUP goals.

Contribute and actively participate in all IT initiatives, like information security campaign, etc.

Monitor DUSUP’s networks for security breaches and investigate a violation and remedy when one occurs.

Evaluate, install and use security technologies, encription tools, and other solutions, to proctect sensitive information assets.

Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches.

Conduct penetration testing, which is when analysts simulate attacks to look for vulnerabilities in system before they can be exploited.

Research the latest information technology security trends and asses it’s applicability and benefit  to DUSUP’s IT environment.

Plan and carry out an organization’s way of handling information security.

Develop and implement information/cyber security standards and best practices for the organization.

Recommend security enhancements to management.

Help computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and procedures.

Closely work with SOC providers and consultants to ensure reliable and quality service delivery.

Develop SLAs, performance matrix and establish a monitoring and reporting system for all SOC & NOC services.

Conduct supplier information/cyber security review and prepared reports and recommendations.

 

 

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

University Dgree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)

7 or above years of working experience with leading information system security and networking technologies, in a multi-site, multi-protocol  Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) environment in arole of Information Security Analyst or equivalent.

Expert knowledge on Cisco Firewall, Routers, Switches, and other Security & Networking tehnologies.

Expert knowledge on leading perimeter and end-point security technologies and policies.

Knowledge on Fortigate Firewall & F5 load balancer technologies.

Knowledge of infrastructure administration will be an advantage

Knowledge of Enterprise Archiving Solution administration.

Excellent technical trouble shooting and analytical skills.
